Does Your Green Have Deen - Notes

Here are some of my real life raw and uncut 'teacher' notes from the lecture. (Ok, I edited just a bit so that you may be able to read it)

7 Ways to Increase Your Wealth Whilst Coming Closer to Allah

  1. Ask Allah for Forgiveness  (Nuh: Ask your Lord for forgiveness...He will increase you in wealth)
  2. Fulfill ties of Kinship (Silat ArRahim) Anas : 'Whoever likes to have increase in his Rizq and to live long, should honor ties with his blood relatives' [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
  3. Halal Business: (And Allah made business transactions halal and Riba Haram)
  4. Interest Free Loans, Qardh Hasan (Who is it that will loan to Allah a goodly loan, so that Allah may compound it many times) The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "And whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs." [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
  5. Zakah (700x return, promise from Allah) ~ Allaah has said ‘O bani Adam, spend!  I will spend on you. ~ “...Money will never decrease because of charity” [al-Tirmidi]
  6. Taqwa – (And whoever has Taqwa of Allah, Allah makes a way out for them, and provides for them from where they would not imagine) provide from where they would never imagine
  7. Dua: rabbana aatina fid dunya hasanah... (O Allah, give us goodness in this life, and goodness in the next, and protect us from Hellfire)

Assalamu'Alaikum,

JazakAllah khayr for your great service to the deen. May Allah bless you and everyone involved in this task - Ameen.

Shouldn't the dua' (point 7 above) read "Rabbana aatina fid dunya hasanah, wa fil aakhirati hasanah, wa qina adhaab annaar" to mean "O Allah, give us goodness in this life, and goodness in the next, and protect us from Hellfire"?

The current text viz. "Rabbana aatina fid dunya hasanah" only means "O Allah, give us goodness in this life" and is thus incomplete.

Hope you understand and make the correction InshaAllah. (JazakAllah)

Keep up the good work.

Wassalaam
AbdulAziz

Bismillahir Rehmanir Raheem!
Wa-Allaikum-Us-Salaam-Wa-Rehmatullahi-Wa-Barakatuh!

Brother AbdulAziz, as you can see there is a "..." after the part of the du'a by Sh. AlShareef. This clearly indicates that there is something after it too, but it is not necessary at the moment of discussion.

JazakAllAH Khair! Ya Sheikh!

May AllAH increase our knowledge in DEEN!
AllAH Humma Aameen!

ASSALAM U ALAIKUM,

Jazak Allahu Khair for sharing this info.
May Allah bless you, Ameen.

@ Katib: you are right and so is Muhammad Alshareef. He just wrote the beginning part with 3 dots in the end to show the continuation of dua.

Hope it's clear.

WALAIKUM US SALAM,

Salaam Alaikum -
Masha Allah - this was a great talk and reminder.
I am actually taking the Money Master course right now and wow, wow - so many things I am learning about myself. Everyone should take this class if you haven't already - it is just incredible. Insha Allah - I cannot wait to share the information I learn with not only my Muslim family and friends, but especially my Non-Muslim family and friends - Insha Allah - it will be not only great Dawah, but help them in their personal lives.
Jazakallahu Khair Sh Muhammad and Sh Yasir..

Assalamu alaikum,

This was an excellent introduction to the Millionaire who went to Jannah and now I can't wait until the weekend so I can begin the first module!

My favorite part of the webinar was learning how to make dua properly for increase of wealth and also how to realign your goals to make JANNAH #1 (I almost feel like saying "Duh" here) in order to have everything else in your life align itself towards that and everything will fall into place! :)

Jazak Allah Khair for making this precious, sacred knowledge available to us via such excellent and useful use of the world wide web...
