Excellent observation. Sahabah near the end of the reign of Umar رضى الله عنها and during the earlier period of Uthman رضى الله عنها caliphate amassed massive portions of real estate due to ongoing expeditions, and therefore become successful entrepreuners with employees that ran into the 100's per enterprise.
Their unselfish pursuits in commerce supported 100,000's of people with employment and pioneered the beginnings for the ummah to establish the most successful business community that the world has witnessed.
Spain could not have achieved its viable commercial success without the Sahabah developing the blueprint of excellence in commerce
